Who We Are

Salt Strength ("we", "us", "our") operates the gym at 6/17 Banksia Drive, Byron Bay NSW and the website crossfitsaltstrength.com.au. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What We Collect

We collect personal information you provide when you enquire, book an intro or class, become a member, or contact us — including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, emergency contact details, and relevant health or injury information you choose to share.

We also collect payment and billing details when you purchase a membership, drop-in, or class pack. Payments are processed by our third-party billing providers — we do not store your full card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to manage your membership and bookings, process payments, communicate with you about classes, schedules, and gym updates, respond to enquiries, and improve our services. With your consent, we may also send you marketing communications — you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the gym — such as our booking and membership platform, payment processors, and email service — and only to the extent needed to provide those services, or where required by law.

Storage & Security

Your information is stored securely with our service providers, some of whom may store data overseas. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

Access & Correction

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and improve the experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
